At Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School, we believe that our Catholic faith should be at the heart of everything we do. The values we teach, the choices we make and the way we treat others should reflect the example of Jesus and help us to live our lives like Jesus, both in school and beyond.
Through the Gospels, children learn about Jesus’ life and teachings and explore how these can guide us in our everyday lives. They have regular opportunities to reflect on Scripture, deepen their understanding of our faith and discover how Catholic Social Teaching calls us to care for others, stand up for what is right and help build a fairer and more compassionate world.
We believe that faith is not just something we celebrate at Mass or on special feast days. It is something we live each day through our words, actions and relationships. As children grow and learn about the world around them, we encourage them to become responsible global citizens who recognise the dignity of every person and understand their role in making a positive difference.
Catholic Social Teaching gives us key principles to help guide the way we live, treat others and care for our world. These principles help us put our faith into action and live out our mission, ‘We live our lives like Jesus’.
