God gave us a beautiful world with enough food for everyone.

During harvest, we thank God by sharing his gifts so nothing goes to waste.

Loving Father,

We thank You for the harvest and for the food that You provide for us each day.

We are grateful to everyone who has generously donated food to support our local Buckland’s Soup Kitchen. We pray that these gifts will bring comfort, nourishment and hope to those who need them.

Help us to remember that everything we have is a gift from You. We are reminded of our responsibility to be good stewards of your creation and to use what we have to care for others.

Teach us not to waste what we have been given, but to share generously, look after our world and recognise the dignity of every person.

May our small acts of kindness make a difference in the lives of others and help us to live our school mission: We live our lives like Jesus.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
