PE Days

All year 5-6 classes have PE on Monday and Friday.

Home Learning

Reading:

Children are expected to read at least 3 times per week.

Spelling:

Children are expected to complete their weekly spellings, practising 5 times per week. These spellings are directly linked to spelling rules and Year 5&6 statutory words. Children will receive 1 merit if completed in full. New spelling lists are sent home on Fridays.

Maths:

Maths homework is set weekly on a Friday. Homework is due by the following Friday and is to be handed to their teacher. A merit will be awarded if completed in full.

Children in year 5/6 have access to many other free books online using the Online Ebook service.
